Hello & Welcome to Our First Newsletter!

If you’re reading this, it means you’ve purchased from us in the past and kindly shared your email address. Thank you! We’re excited to use this opportunity to keep you up to date with what’s happening at Pearsons and the changes we’re making to stay sustainable and forward-thinking in 2026.

2025 was a challenging year. I spent time away from the business completing a separate project – Bike Base, a cycle hub created from a redundant building at Gribdale near Great Ayton. It’s now up and running under a capable management team, allowing me to refocus 100% on Pearsons TV & Electrical.

At the same time, we said goodbye to two valued team members who moved on to new challenges. We thank them for their years of hard work and wish them the best. Many of you will miss their familiar faces, but exciting times lie ahead as we introduce new team members!


What’s Changing in 2026

    Streamlined Operations:
    We’ve adjusted our showroom opening hours to help us manage service calls, deliveries, and installations more efficiently.


    New Hours:
        Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
        Closed weekends
        (Weekend or early/late visits available by prior appointment)


        Delivery hours remain 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM.

 

 

 

  Pricing & Service Updates:
    For the past two years, we’ve partnered with Euronics to price-match kitchen appliances against major retailers like John Lewis and Currys. However, as service costs rise across the industry, we must make adjustments to reflect the time and care we provide.
    Don’t panic! We’re confident we’ll continue offering a higher level of service at a cost lower than major retailers—especially for our loyal customers.


    Membership Launch:
    We’re introducing Bronze, Silver, and Gold Memberships for Pearsons customers, packed with benefits and savings. If you’re planning appliance purchases in the future, this is well worth considering! 

Showroom Refresh:
Our showroom has grown tired over the last couple of years. We’re moving offices downstairs so sales, transport, and installation teams are all in one space—reducing confusion and improving service. Please bear with us during these changes.
